- Chat: A reply's math is drawn as proper formulas, even while the reply is still being written.
- Chat: A reply's headings, quotes, lists, task lists and tables are drawn fully, and a picture in a reply is shown only after you say so.
- Chat: A new chat can show a few suggestions under the greeting, with a switch for them in Settings.
- Chat: A text too big for the model is kept whole and read in parts, and the chat shows which part it is on, such as "Reading part 3 of 9".
- Chat: The thumbs say what they do, "Good answer" and "Not a good answer".
- Chat: The Thinking choice (Auto, Quick, Balanced, Thorough) sits beside the box, and the chat's place line says "On this computer" instead of an address.
- Chat: A call you allowed by a rule says "Allowed by your rule", and Metis can find a phrase in quotes across every chat.
- Models: A model that comes with a vision file now downloads with it and starts with it, and a model split into several files is offered as one choice.
- Models: Each model's card says whether it can call tools.
- Models: Models has four tabs, with Computers holding the hardware monitor and Get models holding the downloads.
- Models: You can connect a hosted service with a key and pick one of its models.
- Phone: The head and its Menu button stay at the top of the screen while the page scrolls.
- Phone: One scan of a code from the Devices page pairs your phone.
- Updates: The records you send have their own switch, and the privacy policy is shown inside Metis.
- Undo: A turn that was undone only in part can finish the rest, and the pages say what was put back.
Fixed
- Chat: A reply with no tool calls no longer draws an empty fold.
- Chat: The chat's model list no longer waits on a server that is off.
- Chat: Undoing a turn tells you plainly when a file could not be put back.
- Alerts: A phone alert is titled with the chat's name, opens that chat when tapped, and stays quiet for the chat you are looking at.
- Alerts: Pressing Stop yourself sends no alert.
- Setup: The setup page sends you back to the Model step when an older setup record needs it.
- Models: A model's name is shown whole instead of cut short.
