  Added

  • Chat: A reply's maths, tables, code and pictures are drawn in Metis's own look.
  • Chat: A new chat's empty box shows a suggestion in grey; Tab or Space fills it in, and nothing is sent until you send.
  • Chat: Research answers list their sources under the answer, and say what Metis could not find.
  • Chat: A stopped reply says why: stopped by you, when Metis closed, or at the time limit.
  • Chat: The model list names where each model runs in plain words, and the model a chat uses is the one Who does what picks for Chat.
  • Memory: Metis saves, searches and reads memory with its own tools as the chat runs, and each memory says which model saved it.
  • Memory: A fact keeps when it was true apart from when Metis learned it; an older fact is ranked below the newer one, never overwritten.
  • Memory: Two memories about one thing are merged only after you see a preview, and the sorting pass rechecks facts past their date.
  • Memory: Metis keeps lessons about itself and about each model server it uses.
  • Phone: Setup has a step to use Metis from your phone, and the QR code reads in light and dark.
  • Phone: Devices lists your passkeys, adds one from your phone with a 10-minute code, and has a reset for a lost phone and lost backup codes.
  • Models: Computers shows what runs now and one Change the layout; while you draw a layout, drag a downloaded model onto a card or memory, and a drop that does not fit is refused with the figure.
  • Models: Get models has a source switch, remembered, and says whether a model fits on your cards, runs with part in memory, or is too big, with a speed.
  • Models: A hosted model (Claude first) can be added through a translator.
  • Settings: New projects go in Documents/Metis Projects unless you choose another folder.
  • Auto: An Always ask list no mode or rule overrides, with your own additions.

  Fixed

  • Every screen's words are shorter: a thing shows its state, and the explanation is behind a ?.
  • Leaving the relay removes your computer from it.
  • A Metis service that stands stopped is started again.
  • Metis checks its memory file when it starts and says so if something is wrong; old snapshots are pruned after 28 days.
  • The Send and Stop button changes without moving anything you are reading.
  • A second hosted-model translator keeps the first one's port.
